From the heart of the city we’ve attracted people from all walks of life and cannabis culture, embedding ourselves into this community we love. Through our friendships and relationships with industry trailblazers like Cookies, Sherbinsky, Eaze, and Leafly, SF Canna was a quick adopter of indoor boutique cannabis cultivation in the Bay area. These relationships helped further develop our catalog and knowledge of the industry, but at the end of the day, we’ve been able to perfect the craft of growing indoors by simply having a strong passion for dope flower.
What is Croptober?
Croptober is basically the time of year when the cannabis market is flooded from the harvest of mostly illegal black and gray market outdoor crops. As the overabundance of strains from the Croptober harvest come and go, we’re reminded of where we started and where we’re going.
During the prohibition years, we cut our teeth on our passion for cultivating while dodging federal raids. We’ve grown into perfecting the exclusive and premium strains we offer today. We now have over 20 years of experience cultivating our genetic catalog indoors.
Without even knowing how the years we spent under the sun fleeing the war on weed would shape us into who we are, indoor growers of premium San Francisco cannabis. The benefits of growing quality cannabis in a controlled environment can be seen in any one of our strains.
How is SF Canna reacting to Croptober?
Our plants are regularly pampered under an array of Gavita CT 1930 LED lights and are treated with Athena nutrients to ensure quality and consistency before being tested over 9 months. Nowadays we operate from a few different warehouses, but each location’s plants undergo the same detailed process.
It’s obvious that SF Canna supporters know how much dedication goes into growing SF Canna’s 5 strains, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the support over the years from growing outdoors, to hiding indoors to now loudly displaying what San Francisco growers have to offer.
We salute our past as outdoor growers, but love the premium, indoor exotics we now get to cultivate on the daily. We’re no longer at the mercy of federal raids or of the often unpredictable climate and focus on doing what we love.
As for the future, all we can promise is that we will continue to deliver flower at the same caliber as the exclusive, premium strains we now offer. SF Canna strains today possess deep purple hues and test above 30-percent THC and over 1.5-percent terpenes. All really good things for the cannabis connoisseurs of today.
Our past as counterculture progressives and outdoor growers didn’t go exactly as envisioned, but it seems to have worked out for the best. You can continue to expect from SF Canna city grown, premium cannabis.
